The New York March for Babies walk is coming up on Sunday, April 29 to support the health of moms and babies nationwide.
Thanks to the research and treatment made possible by March of Dimes supporters, more and more babies are beating the odds every day. But there are still 1,400 babies born premature each day – a clear sign that there is still much more work to be done.
In one of the most significant fundraising achievements by one company for a singular cause, Kmart announced last week it has reached the $100 million fundraising milestone in support of March of Dimes. One of the longest standing corporate supporters for March of Dimes, Kmart has helped reduce the premature birth rate by six percent.
