Vocalist Rhonda Liss was a professional opera singer both here (at the Met in New York) and in Europe (The Netherlands Opera in Amsterdam) for many years, and played Madame Giry in the Toronto Company of PHANTOM OF THE OPERA. She originated the role of Mrs. Alexander in Philip Glass’ SATYAGRAHA and recorded the opera for CBS. Her long running cabarets: THE HEARTACHE AND SORROW SHOW, A CANARY CALLED QUINTESENCE and EVERYBODY SAYS DON’T met with critical and public acclaim in London, Berlin and Amsterdam. Her last cabaret appearance at Danny’s Skylight Room in Manhattan “SILVER LININGS: A GYPSY’S TALE” was a big success. Rhonda performs frequently in NYC, the Hamptons and Princeton. Dick Swain is a pianist, producer, writer and performer out of Princeton, New Jersey. His troupe THE POQULIN PLAYERS has presented cabaret evenings of Gershwin, Rodgers, Weill, Sondheim, Bernstein, and Arlen, among others. He and Rhonda met years ago at Oberlin College, Ohio.
