Carol Lieberman from Beijing

Hi from Beijing……….have spent the morning climbing up the Great Wall of China. I was taken to a part of the wall that is not a tourist bus destination and not at all crowded. Thank God for that! The wall seems to never end…..I spent a few hours walking and climbing, and it just kept going. It is truly a spectacular sight…… There was mist in the mountains and the trees were so green, but this is not exactly an easy hike! Thought it would be a piece of cake, but after climbing up about 100 steps I was pooped!!!!! And, just to make it a little more difficult, it was 100 degrees Fahrenheit! I need my fan……..?
