Anita Li Chun has been a victim of rheumatoid arthritis since she was 25 years old which is now over fifty seven years time. Chun tried numerous conventional and unconventional treatments in search of a cure for this most painful and devastating disease. Presently there is no cure for rheumatoid arthritis. However, through her efforts in researching exercise, nutrition and dietary supplements, she achieved phenomenal success in improving her condition and general health. In 2001, Chun decided that she would write a book to help other rheumatoid arthritics. She had never written a book before. At that time, her dear husband was in the advanced stages of Alzheimer’s disease, and Anita Li had been his sole caregiver for many years. The task of writing a book seemed impossible. Chun began slowly but surely to write whenever she had a free moment. “Pain Was My Middle Name”, is based on fifty-three volumes of Chun’s diaries and is dedicated to her late husband. The Editorial Board of Chun’s publisher honored her book with its Editor’s Choice award. Currently, she enjoys a very healthy and happy life. Chun takes only a small dose of medication for her arthritis. “There are days that I would like to shout to the world how great I feel and such days occur more frequently than ever before. I am very blessed and would like to share my experiences with fellow victims of rheumatoid arthritis” says Chun. Anita Li will be donating a significant portion of the proceeds of her book to medical research and causes. http://www.medicinenet.com/rheumatoid_arthritis/article.htm https://videos.whiteblox.com/gnb/secure/player.aspx?sid=33019
