Featuring: Featuring Isaac Klein, Joe Pallister, Josh Perl, Dan Renkin, Kate Mueth, Josh Gladstone, Stephen Hamilton, and Robert Anthony
Set in the ever-so-sleek and slick Hollywood of the ’80s, this dizzily funny, yet jarringly sober play revolves around the manic film producer Davis Mizlansky who is on the brink of being done in by the IRS. Desperate to save himself, and morals be damned (if he ever had any to begin with), he comes up with a scheme he’s sure will save the day—and might just make him some money to boot.

Gallery Talk with John Berg
Wasserstein Gallery
John Berg was the Art Director for Columbia Records. He was nominated for 29 Grammys and won four. In a 25-year career with Columbia Records, he designed over 5,000 record covers. Milton Glaser noted “Art Direction, that most mysterious profession, is essentially an activity of intervention. On the one hand, it basically consists of locating and gathering fragments of visual material and putting them in some appropriate relationship to one another; on the other, it involves finding the right person to do something for you and making him or her do it well. It is in this latter activity where the practice of art direction is most subtle and illuminating.” Berg’s works include the first Bob Dylan album, Simon and Garfunkel’s “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” all the Chicago albums and Bruce Springsteen’s’ “Born To Run.” FREE Admission

Guild Hall and The Naked Stage presents FREE Staged Readings: The Best Play Ever…Seriously! by Mike Anderson
Lead Artist: Isaac Klein Featuring Meghan O’Neill and Ted Schneider
The Best Play Ever… Seriously! is the story of Harris Fynneman, neighborhood mailman and village idiot, who awakes one morning after drunkenly blacking out to discover he has written the best play ever… seriously. Unfortunately, no one, including himself, believes this. With the help of his wife and a suspicious Professor, Harris journeys to discover the terrifying truth behind his unintentional stumble into genius. Slapstick, Shakespeare, sodomy, strippers, suicide, Snuggles the Cat, and a lot of things that don’t start with “S”, are all rolled into this theatrical burrito of awesomeness. The Best Play Ever… Seriously! has got something to offend everyone. Due to high levels of hilarity, bringing a change of underwear is recommended.

Frank Wimberley – Winner of the 2010 Annual Guild Hall Members Exhibition
Spiga Gallery
Frank Wimberley, winner of the 72nd Annual Guild Hall Artist Members Exhibition (2010), was selected by Ben Gennochio, former art critic for The New York Times and current Editor in Chief of Art & Auction Magazine. Frank Wimberley, a noted Abstract painter, has been a part-time Sag Harbor resident for the last 40 years. He has exhibited widely both on the East End and in New York City. Wimberley’s work incorporates an exciting use of color, gesture and form to create canvases that are heavily textured and layered. Wimberley is esteemed for his masterful abstractions, in which he translates his responses to material, texture, light, and color into powerful visual experiences. Using unusual manipulations of his materials, he creates works that demonstrate his belief in the unlimited possibilities of abstraction as a driving force.

Fritz Leddy, Part II
Moran Gallery
Guest Curator: Doug Kuntz
This exhibition will focus on the works of Fritz Leddy, the Chief of the East Hampton Police Department from 1937 to 1968. Leddy took photographs for the Department, as well as for himself. Over a span of ten years surrounding World War II, Leddy took over 2000 photographs around the village of East Hampton. He was more than a serious amateur and used a large format camera that produced negatives of about 4 x 5 inches, all of them quite rich in detail. In 1999, twelve years after his death, boxes of his negatives were found in the basement of the Police Station and were developed for a 2006 exhibition at Guild Hall.
