Studies show that they often ask their pharmacists, which is why the American Pharmacists Association asked 5,000 practicing pharmacists for their opinions on OTC drugs.* Dr. Stefanie Ferreri is a reseacher who specilizes in Community Pharmacy Education, meaning she looks for ways to clear up consumer confusion and educate pharmacists on how to best help people with problems. Ferrerri is also one of 7,000 practicing pharmacists who will be in San Diego this March for APhA, the nation’s top pharmacy meeting. On March 14, she’ll share some of the innovative ways pharmacists are helping consumers with drugstore indecision and new insights on some OTC medications that are being discussed at APhA.
