We sincerely hope that this update finds you well and that the storm has not caused you injury or severe property damage. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those who are still suffering through the aftermath and recovery process of this devastating storm.

As you might have heard, Montauk was spared the brunt of the storm and the only damage being reported has been along the shorelines. Within a day after super storm Sandy roared through Montauk, the visitor business districts retained power and most of the hotels and restaurants re-opened. Gurney’s Inn was open for business throughout and the base for the CNBC TV crew reporting live from Montauk. Our parks, the historic lighthouse (the annual Lighthouse Lighting is November 24th), surfcasting and charter boats, horseback riding, and golf course are all in fine shape and the seals are back as well.

Too full to budge? After a great dinner take advantage of our incredible Thanksgiving overnight special! Thanksgiving Day we are offering a special rate of $175 per night*, which includes Ocean View accommodations for 2 and use of the famous Sea Water Spa facilities, a $60 value. Thanksgiving weekend, Friday and Saturday, November 23rd and 24th, we are offering a ‘Family Reunion Package’ of $450* which includes meals, family activities, use of the famous Sea Water Spa facilities and more. Oceanfront accommodations are available at a higher rate, subject to availability!
For all of our friends who are in desperate need of an escape from the stress of the storm, we are offering a very special “Good Neighbor” rate of $125 per night*, which includes Ocean View accommodations for 2 and use of the famous Sea Water Spa facilities, a $60 value. *This special rate is available Sundays thru Thursdays from today thru Wednesday, November 21st and resumes Sunday, November 25th thru Thursday, December 20th.
