?Every day 5 children are killed and another 640 are injured on our roads. September 16th kicks off Child Passenger Safety Week, a time for all drivers, passengers and even pedestrians to review safety issues for any road travel as children, teens and college students are now back in school. More drivers on the road, means more people are at risk of an accident. The goal according to Janelle Rose, Director at Program Professionals is to help prevent accidental injury or death in the case of a traffic crash.?Program Professionals, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to health promotion, injury prevention and safety programming; providing comprehensive program management services, education and research throughout the United States and Canada.
