On 9/21 at 12 Noon, a Worldwide Broadcast lead virtually by Ringo Starr, a UN Peace Messenger, will request A WORLDWIDE Moment of Silence. Also on 9/21 in Times Square a Human Peace Sign will be created, along with a Concert. In the evening on 9/21 there will be a major Celebrity Concert Broadcasted Worldwide, including Video Feeds from all 7 Continents sharing Peaceful Acts.

A focus on WATER & PEACE will be integral and the theme of the broadcast. Our nonprofit company, Good News Corporation , est. 2002 (website    www.peacedayparty.org   ) peace initiative continues for 2018 … In 2017 we created the largest Peace Sign Broadcast event in Times Square/NYC in New York, with additional initiatives in Central Park for 16 years,  San Jose, California and international participation from Haiti, Sri Lanka, China, Vietnam joined into the broadcast. We made the broadcast available for free for the world.

There have been  over 100 participating corporations, organizations, dignitaries and celebrities who have shared a  Peace message in our broadcast,  i.e. Ringo Starr, Paul McCartney, Michael Douglas, Dr Jane Goodall, Dr. Mahmet Oz, Ed Asner, Dr. Deepak Chopra, Michelle Phillips, World Peace Orchestra, Pope Francis, Borough Presidents Manhattan & Brooklyn,  Broadway Show Annie, David Lynch Foundation, Harlem Globetrotters to name a few. Our major worldwide news in 2016 was that UNESCO joined us and the New York City Schools Respect For All program. Participants sing/dance/Hugg-A-Planets/ Proclamations Unveiling of Reid Stowe’s Peace Day Party Environmental Art Creation from the man who is the record breaking sailor who lived at sea for 1,152 days with his girlfriend Sonya Ahmad who became pregnant with their son leaving Schooner Anne at 305 days, celebrity entertainment to be announced shortly and at 12 noon conduct a MOMENT OF SILENCE FOR PEACE. We will watch the premiere trailer for Woodstock Forever: Peace, Love & HOPE Movie, which includes 20th Anniversary of Woodstock with Richie Havens and a group from Woodstock/Bethel celebrating the Anniversary, which we taped at Times Square/Duffy Square in 1989 on a Lunar Eclipse Day. (NOTE: Times Square looked much different!, there was only a few billboards and we used the one on 1 Times Square where the Ball drops for a Next Generation Message, HISTORIC). Our nonprofit company, Good News Corporation , est. 2002 (website    www.peacedayparty.org   ) peace initiative continues for 2018 … In 2017 we created the largest Peace Sign Broadcast event in Times Square/NYC in New York, with additional initiatives in Central Park for 16 years,  San Jose, California and international participation from Haiti, Sri Lanka, China, Vietnam joined into the broadcast. We made the broadcast available for free for the world.

There have been  over 100 participating corporations, organizations, dignitaries and celebrities who have shared a  Peace message in our broadcast,  i.e. Ringo Starr, Paul McCartney, Michael Douglas, Dr Jane Goodall, Dr. Mahmet Oz, Ed Asner, Dr. Deepak Chopra, Michelle Phillips, World Peace Orchestra, Pope Francis, Borough Presidents Manhattan & Brooklyn,  Broadway Show Annie, David Lynch Foundation, Harlem Globetrotters to name a few. Our major worldwide news in 2016 was that UNESCO joined us and the New York City Schools Respect For All program. We could use your participation to reach out  to all the schools in the world  McKinsey & Co. state that there are 1.6 Billion people who will be aware of Peace Day.  Director General of UNESCO Irina Bokova,  saw this partnership as an important opportunity to raise awareness, especially among young people about Peace Day. . “UNESCO is honored to partner with Good News Corporation, whose mission is to use events and media to strengthen the United Nations International Day of Peace message,” she said, adding, “This is part of our mandate, and clearly stated in the preamble of our constitution that since wars begin in the minds of men and women, it is in the minds of men and women that the defenses of peace must be constructed.”

We will watch the premiere trailer for Woodstock Forever: Peace, Love & HOPE Movie, which includes 20th Anniversary of Woodstock with Richie Havens and a group from Woodstock/Bethel celebrating the Anniversary, which we taped at Times Square/Duffy Square in 1989 on a Lunar Eclipse Day. Our nonprofit company, Good News Corporation , est. 2002 (website    www.peacedayparty.org   ) peace initiative continues for 2018 … In 2017 we created the largest Peace Sign Broadcast event in Times Square/NYC in New York, with additional initiatives in Central Park for 16 years,  San Jose, California and international participation from Haiti, Sri Lanka, China, Vietnam joined into the broadcast. We made the broadcast available for free for the world.

There have been  over 100 participating corporations, organizations, dignitaries and celebrities who have shared a  Peace message in our broadcast,  i.e. Ringo Starr, Paul McCartney, Michael Douglas, Dr Jane Goodall, Dr. Mahmet Oz, Ed Asner, Dr. Deepak Chopra, Michelle Phillips, World Peace Orchestra, Pope Francis, Borough Presidents Manhattan & Brooklyn,  Broadway Show Annie, David Lynch Foundation, Harlem Globetrotters to name a few. Our major worldwide news in 2016 was that UNESCO joined us and the New York City Schools Respect For All program.
