WORLDWIDE, 800 WOMEN DIE EACH DAY FROM PREGNANCY AND CHILDBIRTH. IN TOTAL, 250,000 WOMEN DIE AND 4 MILLION ARE DISABLED EACH YEAR ON THE WAY TO BECOMING A MOM. SURPRISINGLY, 90% OF THESE DEATHS COULD BE PREVENTED WITH ACCESS MEDICAL CARE. A NEW ORGANIZATION – KANGU – IS COMMITTED TO REDUCING THESE NUMBERS BY GIVING WOMEN ACCESS TO A SAFE BIRTH. www.kangu.org
