Make-A-Wish Grants the Wishes of Children

In case my prior emails ended up in your spam folder, here’s another reminder that there are only six days left until our dance extravaganza with 80’s cover band Jessie’s Girl to raise money for Make-A-Wish!!!

Thursday, November 12 from 6:30pm – 10:00pm at Le Poisson Rouse, 158 Bleecker Street, NYC. There’s also a full open bar and food!

Make-A-Wish grants the wishes of children who are fighting life-threatening illnesses. The theory is that by granting the wish of a child who is very ill, that child feels a sense of empowerment – that they actually have some control over something in their lives when they have no control over their illnesses. That sense of empowerment and control helps drive children to seek the treatment they need and not lose hope.
