We hope you are having a wonderful summer! We are pleased to announce the launch of new partnerships and a new space this Fall. Green Spaces Colorado will be opening in the historic Ballpark District of Denver in September. If you are in town Thursday, September 17th, please join us in the evening for cocktails, music, and mingling with Colorado’s exciting green community. We would like to invite your friends in Colorado because they’re our friends too! Join us in this effort to bring together Colorado and New York’s emerging green communities.
We are pleased to announce our first corporate partnership with MSI Computers and our first strategic partnership with GreenT Digital. MSI is a leader in providing energy efficient computers. Hailing a Farmer

As we cruised through Prospect Heights, the driver, a man in his forties, and I chatted. We talked about the city’s nerve-wracking economic outlook and the pathetic timing of the MTA fare hike. After some commiseration, we switched to a more pleasant topic, the arrival of spring.
The driver asked me what I did for a living. I told him about our work at FarmsReach. His response startled me: “Farming- that’s what I am doing next. I want to raise chickens again.”
The cabbie’s name was Efrim Soria. When Efrim was growing up in Cuenca, Ecuador, his mother raised chickens to sell meat and eggs at the city’s open-air markets. He remembers waking before dawn to feed the animals, racing with his brothers to see who would finish their chores first, and smelling fresh eggs frying on the stove. Today, having spent the last 14 years as a New Yorker, Efrim is ready for a change.
