Alfred Zaccagnino is a New York businessman who had a life changing moment while volunteering for 72 hours straight at Ground Zero on 9/11. He is now doing what he vowed to do while in the rubble of the World Trade Center- to dedicate his professional life giving back to his community. Next week he will achieve his dream – by partnering with almost 400 New York City public schools and the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Clubs to provide tens of thousands of bottles of his company’s hand sanitizer product – H2One – to children returning to the classroom, in order to help keep them safe during the pandemic. Alfred is committed to helping ensure as many kids as possible are able to sanitize their hands to help prevent the spread of germs both in the classroom and at home – a big worry for both teachers and parents. His company has also produced an animated video educating kids how to keep their hands clean using the H2One bottle as the teacher. Alfred was originally an air traffic controller, having been one of New York’s youngest ATC’s, appointed at just 20 years old! He has such a great story totell – and is finally getting to make good on the vow he made during 9/11.
