Sure, you could go to Paris or Beijing or the Grand Canyon on your summer vacation, but why not do something more meaningful, something really unique? Come to BK’s 20th Anniversary Celebration!
We’re planning three special events in San Francisco July 19th-20th. You can save $35-$70 if you register before February 29th. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity–we’re making the most of our one and only 20th anniversary and we’d love for you to be a part of it. You can find out more here.
Here’s a quick preview:
On Thursday July 19th at 1:00 pm we’re opening up our annual shareholder meeting to the general public for the first time ever. That might not sound all that exciting, but this is more than a review of our 2011 results (which were quite good, actually)–it’s a primer on the state of the publishing industry.
From 4:30-8:30 the same day the official celebration begins! Enjoy a dinner buffet and join our top ten bestselling authors/author teams who will share their visions for the future of creating a world that works for all.
On Friday, July 20th members of the BK Community will gather from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm for a Community Dialogue. BK authors, thought leaders, service providers and other community members will explore how we can individually and collectively increase our capacity to create a world that works for all.
Seats are limited, so please register right away–click here and take advantage of those early bird discounts!! You won’t get an “I heart” t-shirt or a sunburn, but you will be able to get up close and personal (within reason of course) with your favorite publishing company’s staff and authors.
