Golf Writer Bryan Fryklund Available to Discuss
How to Make Your Dad Happy this Fathers Day with golf!
Every year, Americans shower their moms with flowers, jewelry and brunches for Mothers Day, while dads on Fathers Day tend to get a collect call Fathers Day traditionally marks the years busiest collect call day for AT&T.
But there are plenty of ways to make our dads, stepfathers, brothers, sons, grandfathers and godfathers feel special beyond that collect call particularly if they love to golf. Golf Fanatic Bryan Fryklund is here to help guide us with tips on how to make the most of our dollars while giving our loved ones a Fathers Day theyll never forget! Bryan can discuss the following gift ideas:
Affordable equipment and gear. Golf is as popular as ever, and the market is full of tools to help improve ones golf game, from helping measure the distance to the pin to bracelets that help heal the body.
Instruction and travel books. Books are an inexpensive way to show an interest in helping Dad improve his game or provide fodder for his next golf vacation.
A card filled with golf tips. Bryan can suggest helpful tips for taking strokes off your game, and has a downloadable Top Ten Golf Tips on his website that can be cut and pasted into a card for those who cant afford a gift this year.
Hit a muni. Even if youve never golfed, a day on the links together is a great way to share in Dads pastime and going to a local municipal course ensures that it will be affordable and fun.

About Bryan Fryklund
Bryan Fryklund became a Golf Fanatic the first time that he golfed at the age of 10. Though he played on his high school golf team for two years, he rarely let the pressure of competition get to him. Following high school, Fryklund retired from competitive golf, and has been a purely recreational linksman. He has golfed in Hawaii since 1995, and after co-authoring a general guidebook to the Big Island, Adventure Guide: Hawaii the Big Island from Hunter Publishing, decided to write a statewide book for golfers. Says Fryklund, “The goal of The Golf Fanatic’s Guide to Hawaii is to bring the state’s courses into focus. Most visitors to the islands have only a week or so to spend on vacation, and they don’t want to fizzle away that precious time trying to find the right course for their skill level or pocketbook. This guide boils down the top 50 courses in the state and helps the visitor find that course that just can’t be missed.” Fryklund is always quick to assure his playing partners that he is a professional writer rather than a professional golfer.
