Raymond Townsend, M.D., is Director of the Hypertension Program and Professor of Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He is board certified in nephrology and internal medicine, and is a hypertension. He was named the American Heart Association’s 2016 Physician of the Year for his research in metabolism, hemodynamics and chronic kidney disease.
