The Celebrate Israel Run is part of the larger Celebrate Israel Project, a new partnership between JCRC-NY, the Israeli Consulate in New York, and UJA-Federation aimed at honoring the impact Israel has on the lives of New Yorkers.
The inaugural NYRR Celebrate Israel Run is a four-mile race presented by the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York. Following the run, all participants and spectators are encouraged to attend a festival featuring live Israeli music and food, an awards ceremony and more. A raffle, open to all runners, will take place around 9:45am, where two round-trip tickets to Israel, courtesy of El Al Airlines, will be given away. JCRC-NY Executive Vice President Michael Miller will be participating in the run.
