Don’t Miss MNN’s Street Carnival Block Party! Celebrate MNN’s 15th Birthday, Sat. Sept. 15th from 1 – 6 PM by coming out to our Street Carnival Block Party in East Harlem at 104th Street between 3rd and Lexington Avenues! Take the 6 train to 103rd St. Enjoy live entertainment, free food, games for youth, prizes and video expos!
We’ll also be kicking off the development of MNN’s new Uptown Community & Youth Media Center in the historic 104th Street Firehouse. You won’t want to miss some serious old skool carnival fun! There will also be an oral history booth at the MNN street fair where you can share your memories of MNN over the past 15 years! There will also be a groundbreaking press conference to kick off the renovation of the 104th Street Firehouse from 11am-12:30pm.
Local elected representatives, dignitaries and leaders of youth and community organizations will be on hand to share in this historic occasion!
