An unparalleled gathering of entrepreneurs and investors devoted to growing New Yorks vibrant information economy, Columbia University and the Hatchery present HATCH MATCH 2010 on Thursday, June 3 at 5 pm at Columbias Low Memorial Library.
Hatch Match is a one-of-a-kind annual event of active facilitated networking which enables hundreds of entrepreneurs of all stages to meet one-on-one with leading web, internet, and IT investors and advisors. This is New York collaboration at its best. Investors are giving advice in advance via twitter interviews at #hatchmatch. Entrepreneurs register in advance and are matched with the best investors in their fields for 5-minute meetings. Because of the efficient format, the 40+ investors themselves conduct more than 800 meetings in 2 hours.
Investors from Union Square Ventures, Bloomberg Ventures, Bessemer Ventures, AOL Ventures, and many others will be participating.
Founded in 2007 by creative entrepreneurial executive Yao Huang and leading technology strategist David Blumenstein, the Hatchery is a unique venture collaboration advisory that operates on the fundamental principle that all technology companies have the right to access business experts and leading-edge information. The Hatchery has served as venture catalysts for companies in the technology, renewable energy, and social enterprise space both domestically and internationally.
Hatch Match 2010 is co-hosted with Columbia University through its technology transfer office, Columbia Technology Ventures; the Center for Advanced Information Management; and the Center for Technology, Innovation, and Community Engagement.
