About RID Committee to Reduce Infection Deaths is a non-for-profit educational campaign devoted to making hospitals a cleaner and safer environment and to work to correct a deadly problem that kills over 100,000 people annually. RID works to train the next generations of caregivers and medical professionals so such deaths can be avoided. The organization was formed to motivate hospitals to make infection a top priority as well as to provide hospitals with the latest and most authoritative research on how to prevent infections. RID hold forums throughout the U.S. and in foreign countries for hospital administrators and caregivers.
