What our kids can learn from this Historic Olympic Location U.S. Olympic Medalist Morgan Hamm and Author Todd Parr Launch Childrens Book Tour Teaching Universal Values to Kids Across America Background: Celebrating the official 100-day countdown to the Olympic Games in Beijing , U.S. Olympic medalist Morgan Hamm and award-winning author/illustrator Todd Parr will launch the national release of a new childrens book celebrating the Olympic Spirit, live from Beijing s own sister city, New York . The event kicks off a month-long youth initiative in which U.S. Olympic and Paralympic hopefuls will lead book readings for local kids at Hilton Family Hotels across the country. Developed in collaboration with Parr and approved by the U.S. Olympic Committee, the book, be hospitable, includes messages of teamwork, graciousness and multiculturalism and teaches kids to accept others differences. A portion of sales of the book will benefit the U.S. Paralympic Team.
