Dave Winfield
Over a 22-year MLB career, Dave Winfield played for six teams and hit a total of 465 home runs, ranking him 31st on the list of MLB career home run hitters. He currently serves as a baseball television analyst and is the Executive Vice President/Senior Advisor of the San Diego Padres. At 59 years old, Winfield is celebrating the 10-year anniversary of his induction into the Hall of Fame.
The military service men and women are near and dear to Winfields heart. In fact, his father served in the U.S. Army, fighting in World War II. Winfields maternal grandfather and his uncle also served in the U.S. Army. Recently, Winfield flew in U.S. Navy jets and even landed on an aircraft carrier. He also has visited wounded soldiers at Walter Reed Hospital in Washington, D.C.
Rodney Rocky Sickmann
Sickmann is a true American Hero who, as a young Marine Sergeant stationed at the American Embassy in Tehran in 1979, was captured and held hostage for 444 days. Following his six years of military service, Sickmann joined Anheuser-Busch and, as a 26-year veteran of the company, he is Director of Military Sales and an ambassador for Budweisers programs that support the men and women of the armed forces.
