A recent online survey of 3,000 individuals, sponsored by Yahoo! Personals and The Clorox Company, revealed how cleaning habits affect dating and relationships. Kristen Sasser, of Yahoo! Key Findings Ģ Almost one-third of respondents (32%) said a persons domestic cleaning habits are very important or even a deal-breaker Ģ More people would rather date a germ freak (65%) than a complete slob (35%) Ģ Faced with a new love who was funny and smart, but also a terrible slob, almost one-third (32%) said they would try to change their new loves behavior Ģ Six out of ten respondents consider cleaning compatibility to be as important as sharing common interests and said they would consider cleanliness as a trait they would look for when online dating Ģ One in ten respondents have actually ended a relationship due to domestic cleanliness incompatibility.
