Dor Chadash Yom Ha'Atzmaut Annual Celebration

On Monday, April 19, 2010,Dor Chadash along withother Jewish organizations heldtheir annual Yom Ha’Atzmaut Celebration.

This event was at Terminal 5, located at 610 West 56th Street inNew York City, and hundreds of young Jewish professionals,mostly in their 20’s and 30’s attended. This annual event is part ofa New York community-wide Yom Ha’Atzmaut celebration.

Dor Chadash and their partners honored Israel’s fallen soldiers and celebrated 62 years of independence at the largest Yom Ha’Zikaron/Yom Ha’Atzmaut gathering in the world outside of Israel.

The entertainment lineupincluded Israeli reggae stars Hatikva 6,Didi Erez,Guy Vitenberg,and DJ Ilan Henig. Also featured weredrink specials all night long,New York and Israeli dignitaries,a taste of the Israeli “Shuk”, andover 50 partner organizations from across the community.
