Ehud Segev will be featured on NBC’s

The word is out! Ehud Segev is one of the 10 carefully selected mentalists who will compete live against one another each week in the new TV series “Phenomenon”. Series Premiere Oct 24th, at 8PM on NBC. Phenomenon is an intriguing and mystifying meeting of the minds that takes place on live television when famed mentalist Uri Geller and world-renowned mystifier Criss Angel (“Criss Angel Mindfreak”) conduct an intensive search for the next great mentalist. Ehud will compete with the others by demonstrating a wide spectrum of mystifying talents on a panel of celebrity guests who experience the spellbinding illusions along with the studio audience. The exhilarating and mystifying live show is based on a successful Israeli version judged and monitored by Geller, which achieved a historical record-breaking viewing audience. Segev participated and became the runner-up of the Israeli version – making it to the second place. This time around Ehud is focused on Winning Phenomenon! Ultimately, the fate of the winner is in the hands of the viewers at home, who will vote to determine which competing mentalist will become the next great mentalist. Segev, that arrived a month ago for a short tour in the US, received an email with invitation to participate in the open calls in New York City. After mesmerizing the casting director he was flown to Hollywood along with 40 other mentalists to go through additional auditions in front of the actual producers of the show. After succesfully performing for the producers he made it to the last 20 mentalists who had to perform the last audition for NBC’s executives. They were the ones who made the last call: Ehud Segev is one of the top ten. “Phenomenon” is executive- produced by Suzy Lamb (“Grease: You’re The One That I Want”), Michael Agbabian (“Last Comic Standing”) and Dwight Smith (“Last Comic Standing”). The series is, based on a successful Israeli version judged and monitored by Geller, which achieved a historical record-breaking viewing audience, is a Granada America/Keshet Broadcasting/Kuperman Productions co-production in association with SevenOne International. SevenOne International controls the worldwide rights to the program.
