Emmy Award-winning Co-Creator Marshall Herskovitz and series star Bitsie Tulloch open up about new web show Emmy award-winning writer/ producer team Marshall Herskovitz and Edward Zwick, the creative team behind “My So-Called Life,” “thirtysomething,” “Legends of the Fall,” and “Blood Diamond,” are this weekend debuting “quarterlife,” the first network-quality series that has been produced directly for the Internet. In time for the shows premiere, Herskovitz and Bitsie Tulloch, who plays “Dylan,” the series lead, will be available to discuss the launch of this unique new project. Known for their incisive portrayals of relationships and experiences during lifes key passages, in “quarterlife,” Herskovitz and Zwick take on those crucial years between 20 and 30, when so many of lifes important decisions are made. Marshall Hershkovitz and Bitsie Tulloch Marshall Herskovitz has enjoyed a distinguished career in the worlds of both film and television. In 1985, Herskovitz teamed with Edward Zwick to create The Bedford Falls Company. Since then, the company has gone on to produce such acclaimed television as Thirtysomething and My So-Called Life. For his work in television, Herskovitz has received four Emmy Awards, two Directors Guild Awards, two Writers Guild Awards, two Humanitas awards, the Golden Globe Award, the Peoples Choice Award, the Peabody Award, and several others. Most recently Herskovitz and Zwick most produced the Oscar-nominated Blood Diamond, which Herskovitz also co-wrote. He is currently serving as President of the Producers Guild of America. Bitsie Tulloch is a Harvard graduate who was born in San Diego and spent her formative years living overseas in Spain, Uruguay and Argentina until she landed in New York for middle and high school. Tulloch recently completed a supporting role in the Neil LaBute film LAKEVIEW TERRACE, in which she will appear opposite Samuel L Jackson, Kerry Washington and Patrick Wilson. Additional film credits include VACUUMING THE CAT with Barbara Hershey and Ron Perlman, ANTIGONE opposite Keith Carradine and LIFE IS SHORT. Tullochs television credits include roles on “The West Wing,” “Cold Case” and “Lost.” She also had a recurring role in the online serial “lonelygirl15.”
