Location is at Tent & Trails 21 Park Place on April 25 2017 to 6:30pm- 9:00pm. Tickets are a donation to Clearwater at http://weblink.donorperfect.com/TASC.
Please help us raise the funds needed to help the Hudson River Sloop Clearwater fulfill its mission of environmental education and activism and move forward to a sustainable future.
The majestic sloop Clearwater is the last tall ship on the Hudson and the only floating environmental education classroom serving towns up and down the river. We need this magnificent symbol of environmentalism so we can continue to do the important work of cleaning up the river and forward Pete Seeger’s legacy.
The organization has had a challenging year with a $850k Coast Guard mandated restoration of the sloop Clearwater. We’ve come through it and the Clearwater continues to fulfill its mission educating kids about the environment! There are still restoration costs to payback and more to make the organization go on for the next 50 years. We need to insure Clearwater will continue its work as founder Pete Seeger envisioned!
You can support Clearwaters mission by donating via TASC. http://weblink.donorperfect.com/TASC
We need your help to make sure we are successful!

Eric Walton is an award winning magician and actor. He has lent his talents to dozens of projects in a wide range of media around the world and has garnered the accolades of the international press along the way. His one-man show Esoterica enjoyed a seven-month run at the DR2 Theatre in New York City, was a sell-out at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and has been produced at the Leicester Square Theatre in London, at the Brighton Fringe Festival in Brighton, England, at the Spiegeltent, and as a part of the River to River Festival in downtown Manhattan. Eric has been the subject of numerous feature articles in the press, including the Times of London, Zink Magazine, The New York Daily News, and The List, and made numerous appearances on television and radio. Pinetree sings, plays and tells stories both original and gathered from around the world. Performing with Pete Seeger and the Hudson River Sloop Singers steeped her in the folk tradition. Pinetree has created several children’s choruses, including the Earthkids Choir, and holds a Masters in Music Education. She spends many happy hours at her community garden writing odes to compost, singing to the plants and telling garden stories. Contact: hellopine@icloud.com
Fred Gillen Jr has released nine full-length albums, to great critical acclaim, and has toured all over the U.S. and Europe. Fred is a NYFA (New York Foundation For The Arts) grant recipient . His songs have been featured on ABC’s “All My Children,” NPR’s “Car Talk,” CMJ’s New Music Marathon Sampler, and in 2012 his version of Woody Guthrie’s “I Ain’t Got No Home” was featured on “Pete Remembers Woody,” a collection of Pete Seeger’s spoken stories about Woody Guthrie. Like Guthrie, his songs often reflect the struggles of the marginalized and forgotten, shining a light on both the despair and hope in the human condition. http://www.fredgillenjr.com/
Laura Bowman is a talented and captivating east coast original artist with the ability to make a crowded room suddenly stand still and listen. Also an experienced solo cover musician, Laura Bowman utilizes a folk music sensibility with a touch of country and mixes it with soulful vocal performances to rejuvenate the role of the female singer-songwriter. Drawing from the example of powerful female artists like Joan Baez, Joni Mitchell, Carol King, Sheryl Crow and Dolly Parton, Laura strives to empower other women through her music and message and in her own words, “to let their music, not their image, speak and inspire”.
