My objective is to cull an emotion, a reaction albeit that resonates from a visual index, not necessarily recognizable, yet familiar as a vocabulary that one draws on through rote. My work is based on the phenomena of what happens when I take from my natural surroundings everything that can nourish my internal vision and be witness to the deliberate or mysterious process of re-interpretation.
