About AICF
AICFs impact in Israel is so widespread we are known simply as the Keren or Keren Sharett.
Recipients of the America-Israel Cultural Foundations scholarships cover a wide range of individuals
in Music, Visual Arts, Dance, Theatre, and Film. Some are groups or arts institutions, from Batsheva
Dance Company and the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra to the Israel Museum and the Bezalel Academy of Art
and Design. Without our early investment in many of these artists, groups, and institutions, they
would not have had the ability to continue creating and expanding the rich legacy of Israeli art and
culture.
