Queen of Retail Joined by Publisher Jeff Mann Again at Helm of Charity
Fundraiser at Waldorf Astoria on Thursday, August 1, 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
For the second consecutive year, Faith Hope Consolo, Chairman of Douglas Elliman’s Retail Group, is serving as Co-Chair for the Annual Women of Valor Awards Tea, a benefit for the St. Francis Food Pantries & Shelters. Now in its eleventh year, the event will be held Thursday, August 1, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the Grand Ballroom of the Waldorf Astoria at 301 Park Avenue.
“When asked to serve again as co-chair, I didn?t hesitate to say yes because I know how important this event is to the organization,” said Ms. Consolo. “Last year, our outreach helped to pack the ballroom with nearly 1,000 women and men whose generosity funded meals, shelters and educational programs that benefit hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers and beyond.”
Currently, the organization now helps over 40 food pantries, soup kitchens, safe havens, drop-in centers and shelters throughout the New York area. St. Francis Food Pantries and Shelters serve over 1.5 million meals annually.
