Fashion For A Cause” hosted a benefit forTheDawson Scleroderma Foundation on October 6, 2010, at the Carlton Hotel in New York City. The Red Carpet was at 6:30pm followed by the main event from 7:00pm to 11pm.
Designer David Meister, Swizz Beatz and stylist Lauren Rae Levy came together to support the launch of the Dawson Scleroderma Foundation and Fashion for a Cause, a charity Fashion Show,silent auction and much more.
This Red Carpet event started off with cocktails and a special surprise performance from a world renowned performing artist, then a stunning fashion show by David Meister with celebrities walking the runway followed by a party to celebrate the launch of The Dawson Scleroderma Foundation.
Designer David Meister previewed his spring collection styled by Celebrity stylist Lauren Rae Levy. Ramona Singer from The Real Housewives of New York showcased her new jewelry line.
Over 100 guests enjoyed a silent auction featuring some one-of-a kind items donated by designers, such as Alexander McQueen and others.
Confirmed celebrities included Designer Richie Rich, Pop Singer/R&B Singer Sasha, Ramona Singer, the Cast of The Real Housewives of New York, Mega Producer and Hip Hop Artist Swizz Beatz, Grammy Award winning Producer Jerry Duplessis, Grammy Award winning artist Pras, Artist O’Neal McNight, Iconic Rock n’ roll Photographer Mick Rock, Designer Loris Diran, Actress Shannon Elizabeth, Actor Kevin Navayne, Top Model Jaslene Gonzalez, Model Miguel Perdomo, Polo player Nicolas Roldan, former NFL player Leonard Marshall, Former CNBC Anchor Ron Insana, NHL Player Rob Schremp, Bachelor’s Graham Bunn, and Interscope Record’s hottest new artist Jared Evan, who was scheduled to perform after the show.
Tickets cost $225 per person and VIP tickets cost $453 per person.
