Daisy Jopling, who started her classical violin solo career at the age of 14 with a concert before an audience of 7,000 people in the Royal Albert Hall in London, is now taking the violin to another level and another musical world. She has performed in major festivals and concert halls throughout the world, including Salzburger Festspiele, Edinburgh International Festival, the Musikverein in Vienna and the Carnegie Hall in New York. And toured with top Jazz artists such as Bobby McFerrin, Joe Zawinul and Wolfgang Muthspiel, top classical artists such as Julian Rachlin and Janine Janson, played solo concerts with orchestras throughout the world – and has arranged & recorded 2 Hollywood films, “Spanglish” and “Road to El Dorado”. In May 2005 she performed solo with the extraordinary Cuban star Omara Portuondo for 30,000 people at the opening of the Vienna Festival in Austria.
