Dear Mom, you are beautiful and I know that because I have met you over the years with Errol. You are beautiful because Errol has been raised with a big kind, menche heart, loves you dearly and you helped him become a loving man.Happy and healthy 39th Birthday, you are as old as Jack Benny!peace and lovePaul SladkusDear friends,My mother will be 101 on Monday, December 10th.I’m reaching out to all of you, to help “keep love alive” by sending my mother a birthday card (to the address below), or emailing a message to me, which I will read to her aloud. My mother was both a successful business women and a wonderful mother. She was always very understanding, loving and full of life giving her time and energy to her family and friends. She dominated and led both the Italian knitwear, and then the Hong Kong Silk blouse and dress business, where she was known as “Francesca for Damon”. She was a force!Sadly, at about 93 she was diagnosed with early Alzheimer’s. Unless you have been there yourself, a son or daughter, you just don’t know what to do when this incurable disease strikes. You’re heartbroken as you watch and interact with someone who has always loved you unconditionally, but who now has become almost a total stranger. That “look” that only a mother could give, is just there but not there any more.I am dealing with this by giving back as much love, nurturing and caring as I can, as a small measure of the love she has given me throughout my life, and I have discovered a better part of myself in the process – “The bond between a mother and a child is the strongest bond in the world”.Thank you in advance for taking the time to share this occasion with us and make my mothers birthday a happier day.Nothing speaks louder than the language and music of love…..and that’s what we’re here for “to keep love alive”.Lot’s of Love,ErrolFrances Rappaport107-24 71st Road , Apt. 6BForest Hills, New York, 11375Errol Rappaport
