To my Friends & Family:
February 14th heralds the beginning of the new year in the Chinese calendar. Interestingly, this year is the Year of the Tiger. The 14th is, also, Valentine’s Day.
About a year and a half prior to Andrew’s passing, I heard the words clairaudiently late one night: “TNT, Turtles & Tigers, The Power of a Woman.” I knew this was something important for me and that I would share it one day. It is one of the chapters in my book, Move on Without Me, which will be in the book stores this April.
Turtles, as you all know, have been my totem, my insignia since I was a small child. I oft times tease that new acquaintances may not remember me but they will remember my magnificent turtle pins. My business cards are inscribed with a turtle.
Tigers were a new ingredient, an important one. The turtle symbolizes slow and steady progress and the world riding on its back. The tiger is recognized for its beauty and its strength. Together they are TNT, not dynamite but better. . slower and more sure to have the power and strength to arrive before the hare. This is a woman. This is me.
And, ladies, remember – and gentlemen please take note!! – this is you, too. You are TNT!
So, please all celebrate with me both a very Happy Chinese New Year and a Happy Valentine’s Day!
Most sincerely,
Susan
