These 200-pounds foals are so inspiring, the folks at the new state-of-the-art breeding facility decided to open the farm for tours and show-off the young horses who will grow up to become the next generation of the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales and youre invited!
On May 14, Jim Poole the head of Clydesdale operations — will introduce your viewers to some of the most majestic animals youve ever seen. Most people know these massive horses because they have been an American Icon for more than 75 years. Now, for the first time, the facility is being opened to the public, so guests can see and interact with more than 100 Clydesdales ranging from foals to stallions.
Interesting Facts about Clydesdales:
Mature horses stand at least 72 inches, and weight between 1,800 & 2,300 lbs.
Each hitch horse consumes as much as 60 lbs of hay and 30 gallons of water per day.
Each harness & collar weighs approx. 130 lbs & is handcrafted from brass & leather.
