In 1993, he co-founded 360, an Atlanta-based integrated marketing firm, which ranked as one of Inc. Magazines 200 fastest growing companies and whose clients included Coca-Cola, Home Depot, Holiday Inn, Nabisco, Miller Brewing Company, and Citigroup. The firm was acquired by Grey Global Group in 2002. He has served on the boards G-CAPP, Safe America, The Atlanta History Center, IN ZONE Brands, GCI Group & the Board of Visitors of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Foundation. He is an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist and was named Outstanding Georgia Citizen in 1997. With Atlanta’s selection as host city for the 1996 Olympic Games, he took a leave of absence from private enterprise to serve as the city’s Chief of Marketing and Communications, as well as a member of the mayor’s cabinet and executive committee.
