The Long Bien Bridge Festival, produced and directed by the Maison Des Arts Hanoi announces the joint partnership for this year’s event with the Pacific Rim Business Council integrating their World Cultural and Travel Festival into one huge event over three days, October 24, 25 and 26, 2014 around and on the most famous historical bridge in Vietnam and Asia!
This program will feature World Peace through the Arts and cultures of over 28 nations who will be represented by the nation’s foreign embassy staff headquartered in Hanoi. Music, Art, Literature, Dress, Dance, Language, and Customs will be presented on stage day and night to over 500,000 local and international visitors as well as destinations throughout the world encouraging the attendees to learn and travel.
Tickets are free to students under 10 years of age with parents and adult tickets sold through the school systems locally for 40,000 dong ($2 usd) Over 100 schools will use this as a fund raiser for their schools for expansion of services for the children in international studies. Games and family fun will take place throughout the venue.
This year’s theme will feature indigenous peoples parade with the Native American Indians highlighted so the world can learn of their rich history and cultures. Broadcasters from 5 continents as well as several leading internet broadcasters will televise the event worldwide promoting Peace and Prosperity to the rest of the world from this exciting and historical event!
