Dr. Re is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon. He is fellowship trained and specializes in Arthroscopic Shoulder, Knee, and Sports Medicine reconstruction surgery. Dr. Re graduated Magna Cum Laude from Columbia College then went on to the College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia University. He completed his surgical internship at Yale University, where he continued on to complete his residency in the Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation, Yale University School of Medicine.
He is well known for his work on several research projects involving shoulder and knee reconstructions, and is an alumnus of the Arthroscopic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship at the Southern California Orthopaedic Institute.
He has been an Assistant Clinical Professor, Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, and is currently Clinical Instructor, Shoulder Reconstruction and Arthroscopy Mount Sinai-Roosevelt Hospital.
He has been voted teacher of the year twice and is currently continuing research on the outcome of Graft Reconstruction for Massive Rotator Cuff Tears.
Dr. Re is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American College of Sports Medicine.
