The New York City Toys for Tots established by The Marines have a very wonderful event for children. The event was held at the state of art Mercedes-Benz dealership in New York City. Teaming up with Joe Cinque’s, The American Academy of Hospitality Sciences and the Marines, Police and Fire Fighters and many elves the children have a wonderful time. When Good News asked, “What makes you happy?”, the children only spoke of family, friends, peace, love and toys. What a special group of children and parents. Toys for Tots collect toys from various companies, organizations, families, and individuals to provide the needy and underprivileged children of New York City a Happy Holiday.
Every year hundreds of companies and organizations volunteer their establishments as a drop off location for employees, customers, and individuals to drop off toys. Some companies offer storage space, vehicles, boxes, and other various services that help in the logistics of collecting and transporting toys to the needy children.
Families and individuals offer their time as volunteers to help deliver and pick up boxes from various locations within the New York City area.
