Hi —
Mohamed Bzeek, the Los Angeles-based foster dad to over 80 terminally ill children, is this week’s featured profile of the second episode of “The Secret Life of Muslims.”
In this week’s episode, Mohamed shares how his religion inspired him to become a foster father to the children who need unconditional love the most, how he was impacted by the 2017 Muslim ban and how his life has changed since his GoFundMe campaign went viral to help him raise over $500K to date.
This inspiring Emmy and Peabody-nominated docuseries highlights the profiles of Muslim-Americans, with a new episode every week. Now in season two, season one garnered 38M views since Election Day 2016. The series was produced by Reza Aslan and Joshua Seftel.
Let me know if you’d be interested in sharing the video– now live on Splinter’s Facebook page, or would be interested in learning more about Mohamed and his inspiring story, or about the series overall.
Best, Lauren
