Born for Broadway is a cabaret gala benefiting the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation. The event showcases the performances of both established Broadway performers as well as up and coming talent.
Born for Broadway was created nine years ago as a student sponsored cabaret at Marymount Manhattan College, where Founder & Executive Producer Sarah Galli was enrolled as a performance major. Sarah created the show as a way to give back after her brother, Jeff, suffered a spinal cord injury in 1998 in a diving accident. He became a quadriplegic with a very similar injury to that of Christopher Reeve.
Born for Broadway gives renowned performers an opportunity to not only display their talent, but also raise money for a cause that celebrates the memory of two of the theatre community’s most gallant and respected members, Christopher and Dana Reeve. And what better way to pay tribute to their Broadway roots?
Thank you to our immensely skilled performers, donating their time and talent to the event.

Born for Broadway is celebrated in memory of Andi Parhamovich. Andi was a friend and mentor to Sarah during their time together in Public Relations at Air America Radio, as well as through her leadership and service as a civilian promoting democracy in Iraq. An inspiring role model to young women through her devotion to public service, Andi continues to be an influence for Sarah and Born for Broadway.
