I hope you’re looking forward to a relaxing, peaceful weekend.
The word “peace” has at least seven definitions in the Merriam-Webster Dictionary. But whether we’re talking about inner tranquility, harmony in personal relationships, or the absence of war, peace is not something that we just “do.”
It requires the inner marriage of “doing” peace and “being” peace, of radiating compassion AND navigating life situations with skill.
As human beings living in a complex world shaped by millennia of violence, and physical, psychological and spiritual trauma and wounding; we may find ourselves unable to cut through our emotional patterning around conflict.
That’s why we need a framework for healing conflict on the most fundamental levels, even cellular, in order to build peace from the inside out.
And that’s what we are blessed to offer you in the upcoming Peace Ambassador Training, the premiere training for people committed to making peace at every level a beautiful reality.
To learn more, make sure you join us tomorrow for the encore of “The Peace Imperative in Your Life and Our World.”

During the call, our lead peace faculty James O’Dea is joined by a powerful group of visionaries, including Bob Baskin, President of the Peace Alliance; Dot Maver, Founder of the National Peace Academy; and Emma Seppalla, with the Center for Compassion at Stanford University. They share practical insights and real life inspiration that demonstrate personal and planetary peace are weaving together in many new ways.
He also shares our excitement about the upcoming Peace Ambassador Training – the 7th time we have offered this transformational program.
More than 800 people have completed this truly breakthrough program, which James O’Dea created after spending years in social healing and conflict resolution work in war-torn regions such as Bosnia. The faculty includes not only James but nineteen other leaders on the cutting-edge of peacemaking, including luminaries like Deepak Chopra.
The stories of graduates are extraordinary testaments to the uniquely valuable teachings and practices in this visionary program.
Deb Pellegrini’s is one such story. Her sixth-grade son had Tourette Syndrome and was being bullied and emotionally traumatized daily in school. Deeply pained by this, Deb created 1st Stone for Peacebuilding to reduce bullying in her son’s school and throughout the Wake County, N.C. school district.
1st Stone is based on the principles and practices she was learning in the Peace Ambassador Training at the time. Her vision? A bully-free world.
Here’s Deb’s story: “One Day Our World Will Be Bully Free”
It’s inspiring to say the least. With the right framework, each of us, in our own way can heal our communities and world.
I hope to have you with us for tomorrow’s encore of “The Peace Imperative.”
And in the meantime, you can learn more about the training here: Peace Ambassador Training
