The Board of Governors, Dianne Bernhard, President, of the National Arts Club present a reading of Rosary Hartel O’Neill’s latest play Plane Love at 7:00 PM on Monday February 27, 2012 in the Sculpture Court.
Inspired by the love story of Clark Gable and Carole Lombard, it is a contemporary fictional play about two famous actors in a spiraling series of love letters entwining, accelerating and becoming more and more personal and sensual as we peer into the lives of two stars and the jeopardy sourcing their deadly attraction to each other.
The play shows resident playwright O’Neill at her finest in her newest hot off the press creation of dynamic theatrical characters desperately in love and terrified by the mounting intimacy propelling them through cyberspace. A reception follows after the reading.
