Actress and long-time Planned Parenthood supporter Blythe Danner, Men in Black producer Barry Sonnenfeld, Loraine Boyle, April Gornik, and Dallas Ernst were among the guests.
A pre-event cocktail reception, including a display of one-of-a-kind teak creations from designer and craftsman Jason Lamberth, and a tour of the Gordon’s modern home, designed by renowned environmental architect Tommy Zung, great-godson of Buckminister Fuller, for those contributing $1,500 or more per person, was held at 4:30pm. Tickets were $250 per person and $75 per person (35 and under.)

Planned Parenthoods six health centers in Suffolk, including Amagansett, fill a vital need for working class women and men of the East End communities. 90% of PPHPs services are preventative, including cervical and breast cancer screenings, GYN wellness exams, testing and counseling for sexually transmitted infections, and prenatal care. For over 77 years, PPHP has provided affordable, confidential, and compassionate care to women, men, and teens. PPHP works to protect the right to reproductive freedom, and offers education and training programs to improve parent/child communication, peer-to-peer education, and a variety of other community resources.
Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic, Inc (PPHP) is the 20th largest affiliate of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, and operates 12 medical centers in Suffolk, Westchester, Rockland, and Putnam Counties. In 2009, PPHP provided services to over 35,000 patients in over 70,000 visits.
