It’s 1849 and Edgar Allan Poe, desperate and destitute, has agreed to read from his poems and tales of mystery. As he recites from Annabel Lee, The Raven, The Cask of Amontillado and The Fall of the House of Usher, characters from his stories will make surprise appearances! Poe is tested as each ghostly visitor seeks revenge on him for the way in which they were killed. Both entertaining and educational, the drama that unfolds during Poe’s Last Mysterywill alter events on what will prove to be the eve of his death.
This is an interactive show in that Edgar Allan Poe speaks directly to the audience. As he reads, characters from his tales of mystery come to life – or do they? Are they figments of Poe’s delusional mind seeking revenge or are they real?

“I thoroughly enjoyed the performance. I felt like I was a little kid, listening to a story, except this one had a visual component. The acting was excellent, and the whole concept was brilliant and very original.” – Felicia Raphael
