What could be more festive, hip and swingin’ than spending the holidays with Frank, Sammy, Dean and Joey?
Unequaled in its style, feel and presentation, with dozens of national appearances and multiple touring casts, “Sandy Hackett’s Rat Pack Show” celebrates the season with “Someday at Christmas,” a new Yuletide extravaganza that incorporates the festive sounds of the season into an entertainment experience that has become a true global phenomenon, seen by more than a million people worldwide.
The show, which stars Hackett as Joey Bishop and David DeCosta as Frank Sinatra, previewed this dynamic holiday edition with a performance at Bloomington (Illinois) Center for the Performing Arts in early December.
The producers, Hackett and Lisa Dawn Miller—nominated as Best Featured Actress in a Musical in Broadway World’s 2010 Awards for her portrayal in the show as “Frank’s One Love”—have created a compelling 16 minute promo film for the holiday show that includes performance clips and exclusive behind the scenes footage. It can be viewed at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3jpP1rlDUAM.
They are currently booking dates for the 2013 holiday tour.
“Someday at Christmas” is named after a popular Stevie Wonder song written by Miller’s father, legendary Motown songwriter Ron Miller.
The musical and comedy driven celebration of the legendary ensemble kicked off its 50 city 2012-13 tour September 28 at the Three Rivers Casino in Eugene, Oregon. It runs through May 2013.
The producers will have a new film short due out later this month with an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the origin and making of the acclaimed show, including special “on tour” coverage. The production will also be featured on the Travel Channel’s Movie Set Getaways in spring 2013.

“WHOWEEEEE, what a show, Sandy Hackett’s Rat Pack Show was fun, hilarious and strangely satisfying. Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis, Jr., Dean Martin and Joey Bishop stormed the Woodlands stage in Hot Springs Village and commanded the audience’s total attention while singing, dancing and zinging jokes. My belly muscles got a total workout from deep, rich laughs in response to the witty repartee. I, like every member of the audience got lost in the illusion of the Rat Pack.”
