As the future of shopping continues to change, PayPal is leading the charge. PayPal’s new in-store payment solution is now available in all 18 The Home Depot stores select markets throughout the country. The Home Depot is the first retailer to integrate PayPal’s point of sale technology, which allows shoppers to check out with a mere swipe of a PayPal payment card or by entering their mobile phone number and PIN. And this is only the beginning; 20 additional big-name retailers will start accepting PayPal in store by the end of the year.

The future of shopping is changing radically and by 2015, PayPal predicts that the wallet will be obsolete because digital currency will be accepted everywhere.
