Projects for the New Millennium (Projects2k) celebrates its 20th Anniversary of providing spectacular, thought provoking and educational programming with TERRA TRACTUS: THE EARTH MOVES, June 19, 20, 22 and June 25-29, 2014 at the Stony Creek Quarry in Branford Connecticut!
TERRA TRACTUS: The Earth Moves continues the Projects2k tradition of tremendous and multifaceted performance making. This year we look at the geological history of the Earth, and the Stony Creek Quarry itself, as they evolve through ancient history to our projected future through elemental, tectonic, and man-made forces. This dynamic multimedia performance will feature lasers, projections, music, dance, rock-climbers, fog, pyrotechnics and much, much more!
The 8-day run will include onsite food trucks for pre-performance dining. Parking is off-site at the Walsh Intermediate School Parking Lot in Branford, Connecticut (except with special limited ticketing for onsite parking). Arrive at Walsh at 6:00pm for shuttle service to the Stony Creek Quarry. Guides, food and pre-show experience at the Stony Creek Quarry begins 6:15pm, the one-hour show starts at 8:15 dusk.
