Our Chinese Auction – held on the Green in Downtown Montauk during Montauk’s Fall Festival – is just under a month away. We hope you’ll join us for this popular event, which includes the Chinese Auction, live music by the 3Bs, a silent auction of sports and entertainment memorabilia, and a table with treats for all ages!
Part of the appeal of this popular event is the dozens of prizes raffled off during the Chinese Auction. We ask that you consider donating an item, service, or gift certificate to be included in the Auction. Past prizes have included iPods, lottery trees, art, scooters, instruments, jewelry, gift certificates to local restaurants, spas and hotels, and much, much more. Your donation is tax deductible to the amount allowable by law and will be recognized on our website and at the event through signage, announcements and handouts.
Every dollar raised at the event helps us toward our goal of constructing an Aquatic Center, theater, and community rooms at the Montauk Playhouse Community Center. Please visit us at www.montaukplayhouse.org or give us a call at 631.668.1124 to learn more about how you can be a part of this exciting event.
We look forward to seeing you under the tent on October 7.

THE MONTAUK PLAYHOUSE COMMUNITY CENTER FOUNDATION |
In 1999, the Montauk Playhouse Community Center Foundation, Inc. (MPCCF) was born, and an organized effort to save the historic Montauk Playhouse and create a vibrant home for arts, education, athletics and much needed community and human services began. Thanks to the efforts of the entire community, the Montauk Playhouse has now been beautifully restored, and facilities and services within half of the structure have been up and running since spring ’06. Visit the Playhouse any day and you will find a child day care center, a senior nutrition center, an adult day care center, a high-school regulation-sized gymnasium, a fitness center and a physical therapy practice. And that’s not all – plans are currently underway for an Aquatic Center with lap and recreation pools, a theater, and multi-use Community rooms and lounges. The Foundation is working tirelessly to raise the funds needed to complete the Playhouse. Visit montaukplayhouse.org or call 631.668.1124 for more information. |
