2020 with COVID-19: From ‘Full Steam Ahead’ to ‘Wait and See’
At the beginning of March, we grasped the global implications of what would soon thereafter be labeled “pandemic.” On March 7, The Stewardship Report published, “The coronavirus is impacting the entire world – including the world of philanthropy and international development. All of our global programming is on hold, but our social entrepreneurial ventures, including advertising in The Stewardship Report and onlining The Luce Collection should not be affected. The Luce Collection will feature over 1,000 family heirlooms in over fifty categories valued at just over a million dollars.”

Foundation V.P. Leads Mental Health First Aid Training
Dr. William M. Bauer has become a nationally certified instructor of Mental Health First Aid, a skills-based training course that teaches participants how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illnesses including suicide.
‘QuaranTips’ Launched to Support Teachers in Distance Learning
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, our foundation, led by Board member Sunil Herath, has created a website called ‘QuaranTips’ to instruct teachers how to use technology for distance learning.
